A personal day … when is yours?

Today I’m starting a personal-day tradition.  The last day of each month will be set aside with NO plans, except personal plans which rejuvenate and inspire me.

The goal is quiet contemplation rather than, say, shopping at the Eaton Centre.  But I’m keeping that option open.

I try to send out self-care signals to my clients.  For example, I push back against “now now now” demands for appointments. My reasoning is:  If I’m as stressed and harried as you, why would you want to see me?  And if I wanted to be stressed and harried, why don’t I just go work in an office?

Well, exactly.

So here’s my challenge:  what are you willing to put in place in terms of self-care?  I’d love to hear from you, client or not.

But if you are or intend to be a client, and you send in a really great response, I might just have a little prezzie for you…

Send your responses to bodyworktoronto@gmail.com  – I will publish the best of the lot (without names, of course).
